“Jay is an excellent listener with an uncanny ability to tease out the issue, pinpoint it into context, and provide real life solutions. I’ve been inspired to be a better leader, and now have the tools to get me there. Jay, you are particularly great at giving examples from your own environment, which solidified a concept. Thank you!”
-Debra Ambrose, Chief Administrative Officer, Philosophy Department, UC San Diego
Let’s be honest. The role and lifestyle of executive leadership are tough! So many executives realize that they were not prepared for the challenges they face daily. They were expected to figure it out on their own and make it work, and they honestly thought they could.
But many times, the expectations placed on executive leaders seem unrealistic and unreasonable. They discover there’s no way to get everything accomplished that’s asked of them. But they don’t dare admit that to their bosses. And there’s no one to share those frustrations with.
Many executives thought they could mange the intensity of that work life, stay engaged as leaders of their families, take care of their own physical and emotional health, and make a real difference in the world. It doesn’t take long before some, if not most of those things begin to suffer without a plan for managing it all.
Executive stress and anxiety are real problems. Most executives wait too long before they take action to find solutions for surviving the stress. They wait until the problems can’t be hidden any longer.
What many executives don’t know is that strategies and tools are available to help them not only survive the challenge of managing all of their responsibilities, but to actually thrive as fulfilled leaders in every area of life.
As a leadership coach, certified by both Academy Leadership, LLC and Five Capitals, I help leaders in various sectors learn tools for success and implement them in every area of life. I help leaders practice living life in an integrated, fulfilling and impactful way. And when leaders get better, their businesses, marriages, families, friendships and communities get better too, in addition to their bottom line.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck or even spiraling out of control, maybe a season of executive coaching can help you get your life and work back on track. Let’s schedule your free, no-pressure consultation to see if a coaching relationship can help you meet all of your life goals.
